Knoxfield Newsagency Shopfront Collision
A driver has crashed into a Knoxfield newsagency at approximately 12:40pm on Wednesday the 1st of April.
The incident occurred along Ferntree Gully Road in Knoxfield. The site sits between Kathryn Road and David Street. The shops sit opposite Gilbert Park.
Emergency Services Respond Quickly
Emergency services attended soon after the crash. Crews secured the scene quickly and made the shopfront safe.
Paramedics assessed the driver at the scene. However, the driver, described as experienced, escaped unharmed.
Collision Inquiry
The cause of the collision was subject to investigation. The driver assisted Police with their enquiries at the time of the incident. At this stage, police are not seeking to speak with any other individuals.
No Injuries Reported
Importantly, no patrons were inside the store at the time. As a result, no injuries were reported.
The incident highlights how quickly situations in a public place can change. Fortunately, on this occasion, no one was harmed.
