Detectives Strike After Endeavour Hills Burglary
Detectives have charged two men after a massive stolen motorbike bust across Melbourne’s southeast. Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed three consecutive search warrants in Dandenong and Doveton this week.
The raids followed an aggravated burglary at a Roycroft Court home in Endeavour Hills on the 20th of April. Police allege three offenders arrived in a stolen black Mazda 3 before entering a residential garage.
Investigators allege the group stole a car, trailer, two motocross bikes and specialist bike equipment. Additionally, detectives allege the offenders stole tools and several speciality bike parts.
Police Recover Stolen Motorbikes and Weapons
During the warrants, detectives allegedly recovered property linked to the burglary investigation.
Police seized:
- 13 allegedly stolen motorbikes
- Several stolen bike parts
- Tools allegedly linked to the burglary
- A stolen black Mazda 3
- Drugs
- A firearm part
Investigators believe several seized items came directly from the Endeavour Hills burglary.
Two Men Charged Following Coordinated Raids
Police charged a 29-year-old Dandenong man with multiple offences following the raids. He faces seven counts of theft and four counts of theft of a motor vehicle. Furthermore, detectives charged him with two counts of handling stolen goods and possessing a drug of dependence.
The man was bailed to appear before the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on the 27th of July. Police also charged a 41-year-old Doveton man with seven counts of possessing a drug of dependence. He was also bailed, to appear before the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 29 July.
