Croydon Driver Caught Drink-Driving in Operation SCOREBOARD

Driver Stopped Without Headlights

 

On Friday, 26 September 2025, Highway Patrol officers spotted a 30-year-old man driving without headlights in Croydon. His careless decision immediately raised police attention.

 

Alcohol Test Over the Limit

 

The driver returned a positive Preliminary Breath Test (PBT) for alcohol. Later, he provided an Evidentiary Breath Test (EBT) result of 0.072, which is above the legal limit.

Immediate Consequences

Police suspended his license on the spot for six months. Additionally, his vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1,016.

Court Action to Follow

The driver will face charges on summons and must attend court at a later date.
