Get ready Scoresby — it’s time to Get Fire Ready! The Scoresby Fire Station Open Day is on today, Sunday 19th October 2025, from 10am to 2pm, and everyone’s invited to join the fun.
Meet the Firefighters and Explore the Station
Visitors can meet their local CFA volunteers, explore the fire trucks, and even try on real firefighting gear. It’s a unique chance to see what happens behind the scenes and learn how your local crew keeps the community safe.

In addition, there’s a free sausage sizzle, kids’ activities, and face painting throughout the day. While the kids enjoy the fun, parents can pick up practical safety tips to prepare for the upcoming summer fire season.
