Police Called to Seaby Avenue Home
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Upper Ferntree Gully this morning. Officers were called to a property on Seaby Avenue around 7:50am following reports of a deceased female. Upon entering the premises, police located the woman, who is yet to be formally identified.
Man Known to Victim Taken into Custody
A 46-year-old man from Upper Ferntree Gully, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene. He is currently being interviewed by detectives in relation to the death. Police have not released any further details. The investigation is ongoing.
