Rider Killed in Afternoon Collision
A man has died after a collision in Narre Warren North this afternoon. The driver of a car allegedly struck the motorcyclist on Belgrave–Hallam Road about 3.45pm. The rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Driver Arrested After Crash
Police arrested the driver, a 52-year-old Narre Warren South man. He will be interviewed by investigators in relation to the incident. Police closed the road in both directions.
Major Collision Detectives Investigating
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were on scene leading the inquiry. They examined the crash site and gathered evidence over the course of several hours. The investigation continues as police confirm the circumstances leading to the crash.
