Police are investigating a fatal crash in Wantirna after a motorcyclist died in a collision with a car early this morning, 7 July.
Emergency services were called to Mountain Highway just after 6am, where a motorcycle and a car had collided.
The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man from Croydon, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 30-year-old woman from Heathmont, was not injured and remained at the scene to assist police.
The exact circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
