Never forgotten. Forever loved.
It’s National Missing Persons Week and AFP is urging the community to remember those left behind and renewing calls for information that might bring answers.
This year’s campaign, Forever Loved, captures the enduring grief, love, and hope felt by the families of loved ones who vanished without a trace, with their absence felt every single day.
More than 50,000 missing person reports are filed across Australia each year. While most people are found within days, about 2700 people remain missing long-term with families and police continuing to search for answers.
If you have any information about a missing person, you are urged to make a report to Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppers.com.au or on 1800 333 000. Your information could be the missing piece of the puzzle.
