Pets in the Park Returns to Knoxfield This March
Knox residents will soon celebrate their furry, feathered and scaly companions at a popular community event. Knox City Council is hosting Pets in the Park, a free day out for pet owners and animal lovers. The event takes place at Knox Park in Knoxfield on Sunday 29 March. Families, friends and pets can enjoy a packed schedule of entertainment, demonstrations and activities throughout the day.
A celebration of pets across the Knox community
The event invites the community to bring along their animals and join a day dedicated to responsible pet ownership. Visitors will enjoy live demonstrations, stage entertainment and interactive displays. Meanwhile, pet experts will share advice on animal care, training and wellbeing. Furthermore, stalls will showcase pet food, accessories, grooming products and other services for local pet owners. Consequently, residents can discover new products while also learning helpful tips for caring for their animals.
Pet parade and best trick competitions
One of the highlights will be the popular Pet Parade and Best Trick Competition. Owners can register their pets to compete for prizes and recognition during the event. Additionally, judges will award prizes for creativity, talent and crowd-pleasing performances. These competitions encourage participation while also celebrating the unique personalities of Knox’s pets.
Family activities and food trucks
The event also offers plenty of entertainment for families. Children can enjoy rides, craft activities and face painting throughout the day.
