Boronia Robbery Dash Cam Appeal
Police are appealing for dash cam footage after a robbery at a Boronia business on Tuesday night.
Detectives from the Knox Crime Investigation Unit continue investigating the incident on Dorset Road. They believe passing motorists may have captured valuable evidence.
Robbery Happened Within Minutes
Police allege three offenders approached the business on foot between 9pm and 9.10pm on 30 June.
Investigators believe the group walked from Park Crescent before crossing Dorset Road.
The offenders allegedly entered the store, stole cash and numerous items, and then fled.
Afterwards, they reportedly crossed Dorset Road again before returning towards Park Crescent.
Detectives Seek Dash Cam Footage
Investigators believe several vehicles travelled along Dorset Road during the robbery.
Consequently, detectives are urging motorists to check their dash cam recordings.
Police also encourage nearby residents and businesses to review any CCTV footage from the area.
Even footage captured before or after the robbery could assist investigators.
Offender Description Released
All three offenders reportedly wore dark clothing with hooded jackets.
Additionally, one offender wore light grey tracksuit pants.
Police hope the descriptions, together with available footage, will help identify those responsible.
