Residents Urged To Review Footage
Residents are being urged to review CCTV and dash-cam footage following a hit-and-run in Wantirna South on Sunday the 11th of January. The incident occurred on Argyle Way between Fraser Crescent and Mockridge Street. The collision happened between approximately 3:10pm and 3:15pm.
Parked Vehicle Sideswiped At Speed
A vehicle was parked on the street while a family member assisted with a flat tyre. However, another vehicle allegedly sideswiped the parked car at speed. The offending vehicle failed to stop and quickly fled the scene. As a result, the parked vehicle sustained significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
CCTV Captures Incident But Plate Unclear
A nearby resident has already supplied CCTV footage showing the collision and the vehicle involved. However, the registration number remains unclear in the available vision. Therefore, investigators continue to seek additional footage from the area.
