Stationary Tow Truck Struck
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Highbury Road Mount Waverley yesterday afternoon. A single vehicle accident has occurred where the driver has crashed into a parked tow truck on Highbury Road near the Gareth Drive intersection, shortly before 3pm. Emergency services worked on the sole occupant of the vehicle, but the man couldn’t be revived. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances of the crash are yet to be determined, and an investigation remains ongoing.
