Incident in St Andrews
Sommerville Highway Patrol is investigating after an 18-year-old fell from the roof of a moving car in St Andrews. The incident occurred on Sunday the 30th of November. Subsequently officers were called to Paradise Drive and arrived on scene to investigate at about 6.50pm.
Teen Falls From Roof
Investigators have been told five 18-year-old males were inside a Holden Cruze and two 18-year-olds were on top of the vehicle. The car was travelling at low speed in a car park on Paradise Drive when one male slid from the roof and struck the roadway. As a result, he suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police Speak With All Involved
Emergency services arrived quickly and spoke to everyone involved. Consequently, the 18-year-old Glen Waverley driver is assisting police with their enquiries.
