Police have launched an investigation following the deaths of two people in Dandenong North earlier this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a home on Kaye Court shortly before 1:30 PM. Inside the property, a woman—who is yet to be formally identified—was found deceased. Outside the residence, a man was discovered with serious injuries. Despite medical efforts at the scene, he was unable to be revived and died shortly afterward.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, though police believe the individuals were known to each other. At this time, authorities are not seeking anyone else in connection with the case.
