Elderly Driver Dies After Wheelers Hill Collision
A man has died in hospital following a serious crash in Wheelers Hill last month.
Emergency services responded to Shiralee Court just before 7pm on Sunday the 26th of April after reports a vehicle crashed after leaving the roadway.
Police said the car struck a fence and retaining wall before crashing into a tree.
Sole Occupant Suffered Serious Injuries
The driver and sole occupant was an 81-year-old Wheelers Hill man.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
Coroner To Receive Report
Investigators will now prepare a report for the coroner.
