Stud Park Playground Damaged by Vandals Over Long Weekend
Families across Rowville expressed disappointment after vandals damaged the popular Stud Park Playground during the King’s Birthday long weekend.
Knox City Council confirmed the incident caused significant damage to part of the playground. As a result, crews have had to begin cleanup works while authorities assess the full extent of the damage.
Council and Emergency Services Respond
Council officers attended the site alongside Victoria Police and Fire Rescue Victoria shortly after residents discovered the damage.
Cleanup efforts are already underway. However, workers will fence off a small section of the playground while replacement equipment is sourced and installed. Although the damaged area remains closed, most facilities will reopen soon.
