T-Bone Collision
Emergency services were called to Burwood Highway near Hayward Road in Ferntree Gully at around 4:45pm on Tuesday afternoon, the 7th of October. It’s understood two vehicles collided in a T-bone crash, on the outbound lanes leaving one person requiring treatment.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the Dobson Street intersection may be relevant to the collision. Paramedics assessed one patient at the scene, while police directed traffic around the crash site.
Motorists urged to exercise caution
Motorists were being urged to take care. Traffic delays were experienced on the highway as expected. It was unclear as to what time would be needed to clear the scene and return traffic conditions to normal.
